Willistown Conservative Trust

Arader Tree Service recently particpated in the Willistown Conservation Trust event at Kirwood Preserve. Director of Development and Community Outreach, Betsy H. Block, wrote of the event, "it felt like a great fit between Arader Tree and the Trust. We were thrilled to meet so many attenedees who had never set foot on the Preserve, and no question, the bucket truck and fried chicken were a huge hit! I hope you and your team enjoyed the event as much as the rest of us did!"

The Harriton Association

Arader Tree Service is a proud supporter of The Harriton Association - administrators of the restored, historic 1704 Harriton House and large adjacent park. Open to the public, this cultural resource offers programs, special events, and educational opportunities to the community.

Woodlands Cemetary Company of Philadelphia

We joined the Woodlands Cemetery Company of Philadelphia, for their "Beautification Day." Supported by participants from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, the University of Pennsylvania, and Drexel University, we supplied the work force with a stump grinder, to help the team complete their beautification project.

Jean Wolf, the executive director of The Woodlands Historic Mansion and Cemetery, was very grateful to Arader and Steve Cadwalader, who supervised the grinding. "I want to thank you on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Woodlands Cemetery Company for the service of this machine during our Beautification Day. Mr. Cadwalader was able to grind many stumps that impacted our site and we greatly appreciated the use of your machine for this service. Eliminating the stumps indeed improves the appearance of the landscape, makes life easier for the team of grass mowers, and also allows us to use these spaces for more burials. We thank you for the courtesy of the use of this machine under Mr. Cadwalader's care and of course are grateful to Mr. Cadwalader as well for his time in managing the grinding."

Country Day School of the Sacred Heart

At Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, we removed a dying tree and much deadwood at no cost to the school. Arader was happy to have helped the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart to keep their property looking beautiful.

Kites: Art Takes Flight

Arader Tree Service was the proud lead sponsor for Kites: Art Takes Flight at the Main Line Art Center (other sponsors included PECO, Brandywine Realty Trust, and Commerce Bank.) 40 artists submitted designs for original, one of a kind kite inspired sculptures. Those chosen were fabricated and displayed throughout Haverford, Lower Merion and Radnor from April until September, 2006. In October the kites were auctioned off.

Garrett-Williamson Foundation

Arader was the lead sponsor in the building of the Garrett-Williamson Foundation's new pavilion where Chris Arader is a board member.

"The Mission of the Garrett-Williamson Foundation is to provide quality educational and recreational programs for the benefit of financially challenged children." The foundation and its volunteers oversee many aspects in running and maintaining rural property efficiently. Boy Scouts - Paoli Troop 1

Arader Tree Service, Inc. donated split and seasoned firewood to the Boy Scouts, Paoli Troop 1. Scoutmaster, Richard T. Bensing wrote: "Thank you for your generous donation of three cords of split firewood for heating our cabin. With the cold weather and increased activities at the cabin, we had run out before the season broke. You came through for us right away, and got us through the winter. Thank you again for dropping some dangerous trees on our property. I could see they were a bit challenging, but you personally made short work of them."

Thorncroft Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Inc.

Arader Tree Service, Inc. donated over 100 man-hours to Thorncroft Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Inc., a facility specializing in therapeutic horseback riding for emotionally, physically, and mentally disabled children and adults.

The Delco Anglers and Conservationists

Arader Tree Service, Inc. was given special thanks in the September, 2007 edition of The Streamer newsletter of the Delco Anglers and Conservationists and now Chris Arader has helped the Delco Anglers out again.

Two large trees close to a new dam in Ridley Creek State Park needed to be removed due to storm damage. Chris and his crew of professionals arrived with all the tools needed including an excavator. Arader quickly and safely removed the trees, which were a hazard. The Anglers expressed their gratitude again and for Arader's continued support of the Delco Anglers and the community at large.
