CHRIS ARADER

Chris Arader is a long time Main Line resident. He attended The Haverford School and later graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in landscape architecture. Chris strongly believes in giving back to the community and is closely involved with organizations such as Thorncroft, Willistown Conservation and Friends of the Willows Cottage. Chris is also on the board of the Main Line Art Center. When he's not growing his company, Chris enjoys growing large specimen trees. He has been an avid beekeeper since his high school days and currently tends to 20 hives. He generously shares his beekeeping knowledge with his clients. Tennis, fishing, hiking, and growing orchids are among his favorite hobbies.
Chris is the founder, president, and owner of Arader Tree Service. In 1979 the business was incorporated and began a steady growth pattern which continues today. The company owes its success to a staff of highly qualified employees and having the best customers who appreciate and expect the highest level of service.
BILL DELAFIELD - LANDSCAPING

Bill Delafield oversees the 3 teams that make up our Landscape Division. Bill brings over 40 years of landscape experience to Arader - 25 of which were spent working as a grower and landscaper for Ted Starr and Weldon Nursery. His hands on design approach is unique in this business and he has acquired a vast knowledge of plant material. Working closely with his clients, he has formed lasting relationships with them and their properties. He is a member of the Men's Garden Club of Philadelphia and served on the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Council. He also spent 2 years on the Pennsylvania Board of Landscape Architects as a plant material consultant.
PAT HARTMAN - OPERATION MANAGER

Pat began his career at Arader Tree Service 22 years ago as a groundsman brush and limb dragger. He soon graduated to tree climbing and later crew chief. He joined our sales staff as a representative 12 years ago and quickly assumed a leadership role. He is a Certified Arborist whose specialty is golf course tree care and management and has worked on some of the finest golf courses in the tri-state area. His customer base centers mainly in and around the Main Line area. He is a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association and the Community Associate Institute.
ANDREW ARMSTRONG

Andrew Armstrong worked summers with Bartlett Tree Experts as a technician with their plant health care department while pursuing his advanced degree. He went on to join his brothers' company, Armstrong Tree Experts in 1984 where he served as a plant healthcare technician later becoming a full time sales representative. Armstrong Tree Experts eventually merged with McFarland Landscape Services where Andrew continued to manage properties until he joined Arader Tree Service in 1996. He has been an integral part of the planthealth care department at Arader and specializes in all aspects of property management and landscape improvements. Past projects include designing and coordinating complex IPM programs for the Barnes Foundation and The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Andrew has been a certified arborist since 1992.
BILL O'TOOLE

Bill O'Toole has over 27 years of experience in the tree care industry and is thoroughly familiar with the latest aspects and innovations of a complete arboricultural tree care program. Tree preservation, shrub restoration, hazardous tree identification, insecticide treatments, disease treatments and plant nutrient programs are just a few of the services Bill provides to our clients. He is a current ISA Certified Arborist in the Penn-Del Chapter. Bill maintains a Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Commercial Pesticide Certification in the category of Ornamentals and Shade Trees.
